For the Love of Our Furry Friends

Passionate About Animal Rescue

Unfortunately, many animals come to us in bad condition. However, there is hope: with proper care and love, any animal can be rehabilitated. We believe that, like humans, pets just want to be treated with kindness and compassion. At ACAR, we do our best every day to assure that the animals we meet find loving families to take care of them furever.

Rescue, Rehabilitate, Rehome

Most people don't want to leave their pets behind, but individuals in hospice care are often unable to continue caring for their beloved animal. Pets in this situation — and many other situations — need a new home and someone to care for them. That's where we come in. We take in furry friends of all shapes and sizes and put them on the path to a new life. It is important that our animals receive a fresh start. For this reason, we rename them and start their training from scratch. This involves crate training, rehabilitation, socialization, and other training techniques. We even have cats and dogs that assist us with the training. By giving these animals confidence, we prepare them to readjust to a new, happier lifestyle. When an animal is ready to be adopted, we share the animal's story and advertise for a new family. Our team loves nothing more than seeing a pet and family bringing joy to each other.

Celebrating Their Individuality

All pet owners will testify to the wide range of personalities found in animals. We celebrate the uniqueness of our rescue animals and take the time to learn their quirks and characteristics. This allows us to place each pet with a family that perfectly complements its personality and lifestyle. Regardless of the animal's background, temperament, and demeanor, we believe that all pets deserve a second chance at a new life.

What We Do

ACAR is proud to offer a full range of animal rehabilitation and animal rescue services to support the pets and pet owners of our community. Taking care of an animal is complex, which is why we strive for a holistic approach. Our team members focus on our core values, including the diet and nutrition of our animals. After all, behavior is affected by nutrition. Additionally, we offer boarding services for anyone who needs a pet-sitter while they are away. Please contact us with 24 hours' notice to reserve this service. At this time, we will evaluate your need and go over pricing details. In addition, we offer many other services that can take place in your home or workplace, including:

  • Pet Rehabilitation
  • Consultations & Evaluations
  • Therapy Dog Services
  • Rehoming
  • Boarding Services
  • Animal Services
  • Kennel Training Classes
